🚂 THE FRONT PORCH

All aboard! June is officially here, the fertilizer ban is in effect, and hurricane season has knocked on the door. But before we send you down a rabbit hole of Parrish escapades, let me tell you why being totally obsessed with this newsletter will turn your family into the Seaver family on Growing Pains.

We're cutting through the noise to bring you the absolute best of what our community has to offer. No fluff, just the good stuff. Grab your coffee, find a quiet spot on the porch, and let's dive in.

📰 COMMUNITY NEWS & THE PARRISH PULSE

  • Summer Fertilizer Ban: Seasonal fertilizer restrictions began June 1 across Manatee County.

  • Hurricane Season: June 1st marked the official start of hurricane season.

It's that time of year again, Parrish! As of June 1st, Manatee County's seasonal fertilizer restrictions are officially in effect through September 30th. This means no applying fertilizers containing nitrogen or phosphorus to your lawns. It's a small inconvenience for a big payoff—protecting our local waterways from harmful algae blooms. And while we're talking about June 1st, don't forget it's also the start of hurricane season. Take a weekend to check your kits and make sure your family is prepared.
